Dr. Brian Anderson serves as the Defense Acquisition University's Colorado Site Director and liaison to the National Security Space Institute (NSSI). He has over 20 years of experience in space operations and acquisition as both an enlisted member and officer in the US Air Force.
Dr. Anderson has been published in multiple periodicals and is a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the United Kingdom's Joint Services Command and Staff College as well as US professional military education institutions.
Dr. Anderson retired as a command space operator and a certified program manager. He is married to Patricia and has three daughters: Laura, Amy, and Bethany.

After graduating with a degree in secondary education, Candie Blankman taught social studies and history. God's call midlife sent her to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where she completed her MDIV. Until 2003, she served Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church in Chicago, Illinois, followed by nine years as Pastor/Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church of Downey, California, an urban multicultural congregation in Los Angeles.
Candie has been a SCORRE coach and presenter since 1985, and she speaks at retreats and gatherings around the country. In 2011 she published Forged by War, a book about her father's life as a POW in WWII. Candie and her husband, Drew, have three married children.
With a love of story, Michele Cushatt inspires audiences everywhere on the page and stage. Her speaking experience includes Women of Faith, Focus on the Family, Compassion International, writers conferences, business and church events as well as various other conferences and retreats. When not speaking, she pens articles, stories and devotional meditations for numerous publications including MOPS International, Today's Christian Woman, Hearts-at-Home, Upper Room Ministries, The Quiet Hour and various compilation books including five titles in the Chicken Soup series. Michele fills multiple roles with the SCORRE conference including emcee, presenter, and coach.

Ryan Daffron serves as the Teaching Pastor at Coast Hills Community church in Aliso Viejo, Ca. He has been ministering at CHCC since 2005. He has a Masters of Divinity from the school of theology at Azusa Pacific University. He has been married to Mindy since 1996 and has two great kids. More than anything Ryan has a desire to communicate the heart of God to those in need of grace, truth, and freedom. He desires to be a person who can't stop talking about Jesus and pursuing ways to demonstrate the Kingdom.
Byron Emmert is Director of Leadership Development at Eagle Brook Church in Minnesota. He's been part of SCORRE from the very beginning (of the workshop, not the world). Byron is a graduate of John Brown University with a degree in Communications and Biblical Studies. During his thirty plus years in ministry, he's worked as a youth pastor, Campus Life director, senior pastor, and VP of Leadership Development for YFC/USA. He enjoys speaking to all ages and coaching. Byron and his wife Linda live in Minneapolis and love hanging out with their three married children and six grandchildren.
Joy has been part of the DCI family since 1997. She enjoys using SCORRE in a variety of settings including classroom, conferences, writing proposals, church meetings, preaching, and arguing with her pre-teen daughters.
For ten years, Joy worked with Youth for Christ/USA as an event producer, writer and mission trip leader. She completed an MDIV at Denver Seminary in 2004 and was awarded the Raymond McLaughlin Preaching Award. Joy continues to show up on campus as a Preaching Coach and Adjunct Professor. She has been co-pastor at First Christian Reformed Church in Denver since 2004.
Joy and her husband Bob celebrated 25 years of marriage in 2012.
Michael is a co-lead pastor and teaching pastor at Alethia Church in Colorado Springs as well as a Christian communicator. He has a history of more than 15 years in ministry, and has been on the SCORRE staff since 2005. He and his wife, Mandy, are from Texas, but call Colorado home. They have four kids: Drew, Noah, Isaac, and Lindley. Michael is a teacher and worship leader, but really just loves being a husband and dad. He loves Starbucks, Texas A&M, good food, good football, good friends, being active, and the view outside their window.
Keith Ferrin is an author, speaker, blogger, and storyteller. He founded That You May Know Ministries in 1996 and travels around the U.S. and internationally, speaking at conferences, churches, retreats, universities and wherever people will let him. Bobby Fisher has been married to his lovely wife Jill for 35 years. He is father of three grown children and grandfather to six.

Cwurtis Fletcher has been an integral part of the SCORRE family for close to 20 years. During that time he has applied the principles of SCORRE while working in a variety of companies in a variety of roles ranging from Youth Pastor to Internet Programming Analyst, from Marketing Director to CTO, and from VP of Strategy to Personal Coach. Curtis is currently a Senior Manager with Hitachi Consulting in their Oracle practice.

Stacey Foster has instructed and motivated audiences for nearly two decades, with a relevant message that reaches beyond culture, ethnicity, age and vocation. Since 2007, Stacey has been a coach with the SCORRE conference. Additionally, he is a spokesman for Compassion International Ministries, and his resume includes keynote addresses at Promise Keepers, Youth for Christ DC/LA gatherings, Youth Specialties and Creation, the nation's largest Christian music festival.
Stacey is currently the Senior Pastor of Life Changers International Ministries in the heart of Detroit, where he's trained and equipped leaders since 1995. He continues to instruct thousands of pastors, executives and emerging leaders through conferences, seminars and workshops.
Matt currently serves at Faith Promise Church as the Middle School Pastor at their main campus and the Student Pastor at their multi-site campus, where each week he helps over 250 middle schoolers to encounter Christ and learn what it means to walk with Him.

Jay and Laura Laffoon, authors of numerous books and DVDs, have often been billed as "marriage edu-tainers," fearlessly putting their real marriage of almost 30 years on display. Their comedy infused Ultimate Date Night Tour regularly plays in cities across the country, while their weekly online talk show Jay & Laura T.V. offers practical and witty tips on connecting both as a couple and a family. The Laffoons have two children and live in Michigan.
For a number of years, Dan served as Vice President of Production & Marketing for Ken Davis Productions. Along with producing Ken Davis comedy, teaching and training videos (among others), Dan created a two-minute, daily radio program called "Lighten Up!" featuring Ken Davis, which is now heard on over 1700 stations around the world. In addition, Dan directed the SCORRE Conference and has been a presenter and coach for over 20 years.
Currently, Dan is the Executive Director for Denver Area Youth for Christ. He is married to Esther and they have three children: Caitlin, Dillon and Kendall. Dan and Esther's first grandson turned two in August.
Jimmy McGuire has been a Senior Pastor for 40 years. He served as the first Pastor in his first church in Brandon, MS., for 23 years, followed by 10 years in a megachurch in Michigan. Currently, he's serving in a new church development in Livonia, Michigan.
Jimmy has been married to Lucy for 42 years, and has three grown sons. Among his favorite Scriptures are Gal. 5:6b "All that matters is faith that expresses itself in love." He has been on staff with the SCORRE Conference since 1992, and considers the unique SCORRE program as critical in his own growth as a pastor and public speaker.
In 2000, Mason graduated from Providence Seminary and started his position as senior pastor at the Pembina Evangelical Free Church in Pembina, ND. Nurturing his passion for excellent communication, Mason participated as a student of the SCORRE Conference in 2003 and has served as certified coach since 2007. While training others in communication, leadership, and relational skills, Mason also speaks to various groups inspiring them to live life abundantly, fully realizing the joy of experiencing grace. Mason is married to Vanessa and together they have 3 children: Spencer, Kassidy, and Madisson.
Soozung Sa Rankin lives and works in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She's Director of Community Development at an Episcopal church. Her husband Brian and she have a son, and live with two rescue dogs. In ministry for over 30 years in a variety of United Methodist settings, she has been a part of the SCORRE scene since 1999. She volunteers in the community, enjoys running, writing, cooking, and directing "band practice" for her young son. Soozung travels helping others fulfill their mission as leaders. She has special interests in personality types and learning styles.
For 20 years, Lewie Schultz pastored churches in the states of Minnesota, Oregon and Washington. He has facilitated city-wide leadership prayer summits in 23 US cities for International Renewal Ministries. Perhaps his greatest accomplishment is raising eight--yes, EIGHT!--children, including two fake (but very much loved!) ones that he adopted from Russia. For the past 6 years Lewie has worked in marketing for Direct Buy and Ecowater International.
Herb has been involved with the SCORRE workshop for over 25 years. He holds a BA in Bible and Ministry and an MA in Organizational Leadership. In ministry for over 30 years, he is "not your typical" pastor, involved in leadership training, writing, mentoring and coaching within and beyond the local church. Herb uses humor and stories to connect with people make the Bible come alive. He currently is pastor of New Song Community Church in Pittsburgh, PA and the Director of the Institute for Servant Leadership. Herb and Sheila have 4 grown children.
Scott serves in Operations as part of the Chick-fil-A corporate staff. His role is to consult with Chick-fil-A franchisees in order to help them achieve their goals and maximize their business opportunity. Other experience includes being a Chick-fil-A franchisee, managing a profit center for a publicly traded retailer, and serving in the United States Army as an Infantry officer and an instructor in the mountain phase of Ranger School. Scott's educational background includes a B.A. in English and an MBA in Leadership Development. He has been married to Anna for 18 years and they have four children.
